2022 came out 2nd prize today & i din strike..I could have strike $250 (buying $1 ibet..)..but WO MEI MAI!! WO ZHEN DE MEI MAI!!.. *SOBZS!!*..

the heartpain part came esp when i did go to singapore pool to buy 4D today. I bought my hp number & unit number but skip tis birth date number...I have been buying hp number & birth date number..they seems to b a package for me (everytime i buy hp number i confirm will buy birth date number)..haha.. but today, telling myself " guess birth date number will not strike..I have been buying for so long, nt even permutated number came up.."

so tinking of saving the $1... i skip tat number.. SHIT!!! what has got into me?? $1 only mah.. argh!!!!...

oki..haha..its only $250 i know..but i m broke le.. $250 can do lotsa things..no matter hw small the winnings, its always a happy thing when ur number strike (a chance to write my name & IC on the paper always make me happy..)..maybe just my luck..shall try the up-coming toto.. heard frm bro, the prize is great....Omi Omi.. haha..

Dwn with slight fever & flu now..lately have been feeling unwell on & off.. guess I'm falling sick.. Wo bu yao!!!!.... bu ke yi!!!!.... I don't want to lie in bed during holidays...neither do i wan to take MC on the 2nd day of 2008.. I'm not a slacker... i wan to work.. i love working.. wahahaha...

Was typing a serious email to client when suddenly Lee came to me & tell me "Hey, ur interactive head is not coming back anymore!!!"

Tif : "What do u mean he is not coming back anymore?"

Lee : "He has left the company for good.."

Tif : "Huh? tot he went on leave.. went back australia for holidayS?"

Lee : "Nope.. heard frm account service side that he has resigned & will not be coming in anymore!!"

TIf : "huh? no nid serve notice ah?"

Lee : "well, he got his salary, he went back australia. What can the company do?"

That was a real stunning news. To me, this interactive head is not an irrespondsible guy(there was one b4 him,thats the worst head i've ever seen).. The current one was here for less than 3 months.. & he resigned? resigned without notice? Guess everyone was reali stunned by this news..hiazs..can imagine hw jialat my company is? haha..the turnover rate is seriously high lately. Looking around, there are only 2 pioneer staff left & i m one of them.. haha.. pathetic huh?

oki..got another finding..Interative head's email has been disabled!! IT colleague told me the reason for the disabled is top secret. hmmmm..fishy fishy..haha..

Steven (the uncle who curse & swear everyday) has tendered too. Another Account manager has tendered too..Everyone is aiming to leave..erm..oki,at least i know my whole team is.. when will it be my turn then? hmmmmm...

Back to work again after a 6 days of long rest (including wkend)..Sad to say, I din really get to rest..Was so busy shopping, done so much shopping that I'm kind of scare nw..haha..was in orchard most of the days..wahaha.. seems like we r having a tour in other country..wake up, mit & shop..really shop till we drop.. Stress thing with the shopping is..I din really manage to get presents..Till today i'm still in shortage of presents to give.tonite gg to do a quick shopping again b4 heading home for dinner.

Christmas gathering with ex-DCS colleagues at BUgis NYDC.. =)
ALmost every year we have a christmas gathering & gift exchange..Somehow, i guess the one i njoyed most was yrs back when we had it at NaNa & thomas hse at sengkang..STill rem i was having chalet at Pasir Ris at the same time..but took a bus to their hse for the party & back again..Nana prepared the food, the gals (suat & liza?) helped out too..Was a sumptous dinner with turkey & log cake if i remember correctly.. =)

Guess the fun was because we were all still young..Were more mischievious then & ben the clown was there with his joke & nonsense (he is still the same, but the younger ben is more fun...haha.)..I was more crappy too..was disturbing & irritating the rest guess that's y i m njoying.. haha..

My 1st Christmas gift for 2007..

Was suppose to have Secret Santa (office christams gift exchange) on friday. I was on half day leave & went off b4 the gift exchange started. So I left my beautifully wrapped present on the account servicing common table. Thought the one organising the gift exchange will have the list of pple we suppose to give our present to..So i wrote my name on my present.. Over the wkend, was excited about who had picked me and what present I will be getting(I love presents!!! haha).. So this morning, come to office with sth to look 4ward.. my PRESENT!! haha..

Guess wat?? I saw my own present on my table. DOTS DOTS DOTS!! :( .. the organiser thought that present was for me since my name was there. I guess the person who is suppose to get for me did not get anything for me.. if not, i will have 2 presents rite? hmmmm.. unless the one i m giving to picked her present out of the 2 present with the name TIffany on it..

I did not bother to go clarify nor did i give the present to the one i pick to buy. Dun like tat colleague, erm.. i admit i was bad..but who cares!! haha..actually the main reason y i did not clarify is becos i gues i was stupid enuf to write my name on my present. Din want to be luffed by colleagues..so better stay quiet..just kind of sianzs..tot when i got to office..will have a present on my table..wahaha.. there is a present.. but its MINE..haha..

Another gift exchange gg on this wed.. This time i better get a present by someone else..wahaha..

TO anyone reading this post.. Christmas cards & Presents are welcome..wahaha.. =) Hmmmm...To think about it..it has been real long time since i've received christmas cards from frens..everyday mails for me are bills & nothing else.. *sadzs!!*

Thought of sending cards for frens this yr..but i'm still slacking around..is there still time for my card to b sent across? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... haha..

argh..things just dun seems to go right for me today..ben's wedding dinner tonight!!All along I thought my white blouse fit the dinner tonite, only to realise its very big for me..nevertheless, i still wear it out. was so insecure with my dressing.. Got mum's opinion b4 going out of the hse.


Mum's comments : Not bad looking leh. Can..Very Nice *guess mum are reali kind..haha*

Tif to MUm : Blouse not very big meh?
Mum : Okie lah..This kind of blouse in fashion mah..big big one..

*erm,i was bad enuf to suan mum.."wa, u oso noe its in fashion ah..haha.. " Mum was like "Eh, i got go out one hor, dun see mi like sua gu.." luffing it off..haha..*

haha. I got 2 opinion from colleagues.

Lee's comment : Okie mah, not bad looking..my wife also buying these kind of chlothing lately..
this is the 2nd time he suan me having similar taste with his wife..he was telling me his wife is an auntie nw.. argh!! haha.. anyway, he commented tat its oki..just that i m not used to it myself..

Went for eyebrow trimming during lunch time again hoping to look better for the dinner tonite. Guess it was a wrong choice. I come back with cuts on my eyebrow area.. Pain lor!! *sniff sniff*.. Now my eyebrow is neat & nice..but the area around it are cuts, red & swollen.. one of it got a little blood. :( wanted to look nicer, but ended looking worst..My fear now is having those cuts turning into scar..Hope not. I'm ugly enuf.. :( argh!!!

Beware of Garbage Trucks ...Read on You will Like It......I did...

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive colleague ruin your day? Unless you're a robot, you are bound to blow your top off. However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly he or she can get back his or her focus on what's important.

Sixteen years ago, I learned this lesson. I learn it in the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here's what happen.

I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches!
The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly. So, I said, 'Why did you do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'

And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now called, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'.

Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. If they happen to dump it on you, don't take it personally.

You just smile, wave, wish them well, and moved on. You'll be happier if you did that rather than fight them.

So this was it: 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'.

I started thinking, how often do I let garbage trucks run right over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the street? It was that day I said, 'I'm not going to do it anymore.' I see garbage trucks everywhere and everyday. I see the load they're carrying. I see them coming to drop it off. And like my taxi driver, I don't make it a personal thing; I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.

Good leaders know they have to be ready for their next meeting. Good parents know they have to welcome their kids home from school with hugs and kisses. Teachers and parents know that they have to be fully present and at their best for the people they care about.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. What about you? What would happen in your life, starting today, if you let more garbage trucks pass you by?

love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe that every thing happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, TAKE IT!

I've finally own a digital camera (okie,its shared with bao..but its at my hse now!!), something which I have been longing for..woohoo.Thanks bao.. =) haha..erm..thou its not a high end camera..but i'm contended enuf..No more hassle going around borrowing camera..I can snap photos of myself..
